Wow a bit surprised to see Scherer leaving Odom. I know it was a tough first year for them, but still surprised.
Odom has to make some coaching changes to keep his job. He cant take the blame on himself or he is out.

The lease is short if they are forcing coaching changes after one year. He will be out a year from now. Short sighted decision.

Purdue is not in a MWC type conference, if he cant show he is doing things to make the program improve he will be out. Lay another egg in conference play and he might not get a third year.

$20.625 million. His buyout at the end of his second year. Drops by about $5 mil a year after that.
